Kerman City Mayor, S. Korea's Ambassador Stress on Economic ties
Kerman City Mayor Karimi said South Korea's participation in development projects in the industrial part of Kerman and the next trip of an Iranian parliamentary delegation to South Korea could contribute to enhancement of the two countries' bilateral ties, particularly economic.
South Korean Ambassador Li Sung Chul, referring to Iran's new Foreign Investment Law, announced his country's desire to invest in the car industry in Iran.
He said Kerman-Seoul flights could soon be reestablished considering the historical and tourist attractions in Kerman and those in Seoul that could attract tourists from either side.
He also announced a planned trip to Iran next year by the South Korean foreign minister, adding that the trip would lay the groundwork for a reciprocal trip by Khatami to South Korea.
